Rates and Fees

Whole day or Half-day rate: Priscilla typically charges a flat daily rate for each mediation. Whole (8 hours), half-day (4 hours) and hourly rates are available upon request by emailing priscilla@accordmediationseattle.com.

Pre-mediation preparation and consultations:  All mediation rates include pre-mediation consultation and review.  Once all parties consent to mediation, a conflicts check will be conducted followed by an agreement to mediate and invoice for fees.

Invoices and Payment: Invoices are due on receipt no later than ten (10) days before the mediation date.  Invoices not paid 30 days after the mediation date (or date of invoice for additional hours invoices) will be charged a 2% monthly charge. We are unable to guarantee the mediation date before the agreement to mediate and full payment have been received from all participants.

Cancellations and rescheduling: If the mediation is cancelled or postponed within five (5) days of the scheduled date, the party (or parties) requesting the cancellation or postponement is (are) responsible for the entire fee for the reserved time (not just the cancelling party’s share of the fee).

Facilities and locations: Once in-person mediations resume, Priscilla will be available to conduct mediations at one of the counsel’s offices.  In addition, she has access to facilities within Washington and can assist in locating facilities in other locations as needed.  Parties are responsible for the fees or costs of using such facilities.

Travel: Once in-person mediations resume, there will be no charges for travel within the greater Seattle/Olympia area.  Mediations outside of the Seattle/Olympia area (South of Olympia, East of Snoqualmie, North of Everett and West of Seattle), are subject to a full day rate minimum.
